Clove Tea

Ingredients
  

  • ½ inch of fresh ginger sliced or grated
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ¼ teaspoon of cloves
  • 3 cups of boiling water
  • Honey optional, for added sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add the sliced ginger, cinnamon stick, and cloves to the boiling water.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Strain the tea to remove the solid ingredients.
  • Allow it to cool slightly before drinking. Add honey if desired.
