Ingredients
  

  • 2 large sweet potatoes thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder for savory depth
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder for added flavor
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Wash and thinly slice the sweet potatoes into even, thin rounds. A mandoline works well for uniform slices.
  • In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil until evenly coated. Sprinkle with sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and sesame seeds (if using). Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  • Spread the seasoned sweet potato slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through, until the chips are crispy and golden brown. Monitor closely to avoid burning.
  • Let the chips cool on the baking sheet to become extra crispy. Serve as a snack or side dish.
